I’m Zbigniew Pieślak, a senior software engineer with 18 years of experience, focused primarily on backend and platform engineering.
I work mainly with Ruby on Rails, Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and distributed systems. I enjoy solving problems that do not have obvious answers: debugging, performance work, architecture, automation, and occasionally reverse engineering undocumented systems.
Outside of work, I experiment with Linux, networking, home automation, and embedded devices. Some of those experiments end up on this blog.
